Ode to Jordyn

Our little girl is six months old
She is still like clay ready to mold

She is very happy and bright
Even if she doesn't sleep through the night

She is always active and fun
Any day now she's going to get up and run

Jordyn is her daddy's pride and joy
Even if he calls her an expensive toy

She is definitely a mommy's girl
By my side she loves to curl

She knows how to charm with that toothless grin
She looks like a doll with dimples on her chin

Jordyn has a mind of her own
She's not afraid of letting it be known

When she smiles with her blue eyes bright
She makes even the worst days seem alright

I can't believe our little girl is six months old
Six months ago she was a newborn I could sit and hold
