Rodeo
The last week of February and the first week of March were spent at the Houston Rodeo and Livestock show. J was tall enough to go on several of the rides this year. Her favorites were the giant slide and an obstacle course. We didn't make it to the actual rodeo this year, but enjoyed wandering around the carnival and the livestock show.

52 Organizing Projects Week 8
I don't have any tips for organizing any physical thing this week, but some info on how I organize my cleaning schedule. I wish I had more info on organizing time in general, but I don't, I'm actually horrible at organizing my time. I spend way too much time playing on the Internet whether it be on facebook, reading blogs, or just surfing the net (granted I'm usually nursing while I'm online). I've had several people ask how I keep my house so clean and still find time to take care of my 3 little ones and do all my organizing/blogging. My tip is the same as Laura and I'm an Organizing Junkie talked about last week. I just do enough to make it good enough. Your good enough might be different than mine, my "usual" good enough is different than what it is right now. I've had to adjust my standards to what I can reasonably do at this point in my life, and some weeks I may find the time to do a little extra, but most weeks, it's "good enough". Here is what my good enough looks like right now. . .
Daily Chores:
- sweep kitchen floor
- sweep wood floors
- dishes
- general clean up of main living areas (J has learned that any toys that get left out at night will get taken away)
Weekly Chores:
- Monday: Grocery Shopping
- Tuesday: Laundry (I like doing all my laundry on one day, it gives me a sense of accomplishment to say that the laundry is "done")
- Wednesday: Kitchen
- Thursday: Bathrooms
- Friday: Vacuum/ Dust
- Saturday: Yard work
J has to pick up her room every evening before bed, but the playroom only gets picked up about once a week (if even that often). I think Erik answered it best when he said we keep the house so clean by not letting it get messy. By doing general clean up every evening before bed we start each day with a clean house.

Taking a Break
The boys have had a rough week, I have had a rough week. I'm tired and I'm irritable. Not only am I physically tired, I'm mentally, and emotionally tired. I'm tired of the rude comments, the comments disagreeing with how I am choosing to mother my children. Being tired and irritable is not a good combination for me. So I've decided to take a break from this blog- this may be a permanent break, not sure I'll be back- so I don't say anything that may hurt any ones feelings or change any ones opinions of my (when I don't feel good I can be MEAN). So to my readers (if I still have any) please be patient and realize I'm doing the best I know how.

52 Organization Projects Week 7
Again I have no finished projects to show (I know double gasps). I have done some organizing this week, I just haven't finished anything. Life (and the scale of the projects) have gotten in the way this week. The Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo are going on and we've been enjoy them as much as possible. We went to the BBQ Cook-off last Saturday and enjoyed some good food and a few carnival rides & games and then we went to the livestock show on Tuesday and had plans to go again last night, but the boys had a rough day yesterday so we stayed home, but are going again after J gets out of school on Monday. Between all that playing and my normal cleaning I have found a little time to do some organizing, but since we're trying to get ready for a yard sale I've got some big projects ahead of me and they're all intertwined. I can't organize the storage room until I get the craft closest gone through since a lot of stuff on the desk in the storage room (which we want to sell) is craft stuff and in order to finish the storage room I need to empty off the metal shelving unit in the garage because we'll be moving that so Erik can build shelves in the garage, to make room for the new garage shelves, we need to move the gardening/yard stuff back to the shed, but that needs to be cleaned out to make room . . . etc. (I think you get the picture). The craft closet is almost finished so is the outside shed so we should make a little more progress this week, if we can find the time between playing and getting the house cleaned because I'll be out of commission the following week (it's for a good purpose). Then it will be decluttering central until our yard sale (hopefully the 2nd weekend in April).
