In this past month, what have you learned
Well, I'm sure I would have learned more if I had done this challenge in a month like it was meant to be done and not in 6 months, but oh well. I learned that I'm very opinionated and I worry too much about what others think, but doing this challenge isn't going to change either of those things (oh how I wish it were that easy). I guess, in reality I didn't learn a whole lot, but then again I didn't do this to learn anything. I guess I should ask you what have you learned?

A picture of you last year and now, how have you changed since then?
I really don't want to post a picture of me from last year at this time (or one from now for that matter) so I'll just describe the differences [yes, I know that's cheating, but guess what this is my blog and I can't do what I want]. Last year at this time I was 33 weeks pregnant with twins looking (and feeling) like I was 50 weeks pregnant. I had like 2 shirts that would cover the mass that was my belly - not even maternity clothes fit very well at this point. Needless to say I was miserable and I still had 3 weeks to go. Now - I still don't fit into my "pre-pregnancy" clothes, mainly because my body shape has been altered [anyone who has had kids will know what I mean]. I usually wear shorts and a t-shirt and have my hair pulled back into a pony tail or braid. I rarely wear make -up (except to church) and I barely have time to do this before the kids are screaming for attention. In other words, my belly is greatly reduced but I still feel [and look] tired and frumpy but for different reasons so I guess not a whole lot has changed since last year.
and a picture of something you're afraid of.
Can't really take a picture of this, but I'm afraid of not being good enough. Not living up to others [or my own] expectations. I know I shouldn't worry about what others think and on a lot of things I don't, but there are somethings I do. And I really don't worry about it until someone makes a negative comment and then I worry - and I worry A LOT.
I'm also afraid of snakes, heights, and speaking in public.

Why are you doing this 30 day challenge?
To be honest I started this thing so long ago that I don't remember as to why I'm doing it but since I started I figured that I mights as well finish so here goes.
and a picture of yourself and a family member
This is me with 3 of my most favorite people: Erik and my Grandma and Grandpa Wahlquist at my parents house the summer of 2006.

Places you want to visit before you die 1. Polynesia: Tonga, Samoa, Fiji, Tahiti, New Zealand, etc
2. England
3. All of the 50 States
4. Sweden
and a picture of something that means a lot to you.
I don't read it as much as I should but The gospel of Jesus Christ as taught in this book and in His true church mean the world to me. Without them my life would be completely different - without them I wouldn't have my sweet boys here with me today. It is ONLY because of Heavenly Father and His priesthood power that my boys are alive today and I KNOW this with all of my heart and to Him I will forever be grateful.

What I would find in your bag. .
Well, what bag should we empty, the purse or the diaper bag? I use them both equally - probably the diaper bag more but since it's HUGE it would take me all night to unpack it and then pack it again we'll go with the purse.
In my lovely purse (that my mommy made me) you would find. . .
1. My key ring will all my loyal shopper cards
2. My wallet
3. My Cash envelopes (Erik and I are doing Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University - more on that later)
4. My coupon booklet
5. Store receipts
6. A pen
7. My phone
8. Chap stick
and a picture of your favorite day
November 12, 2005 I married my best friend for time and all eternity.

Share a story about your past that you are ashamed of:
a.shamed: (adj)
1. feeling shame; distressed or embarrassed by feelings of guilt, foolishness, or disgrace
2. unwilling or restrained because of fear of shame, ridicule, or disapproval
In my not so humble opinion if there is something in your past that you're ashamed of then you haven't learned from your experience, asked for forgiveness (or forgiven yourself) and moved on. Trust, me I've made many mistakes in my past, but I don't look back and say "OH my what have I done!!" (we're speaking LONG term past - I might say that about something I did a few hours/days ago). I know that I've got friends who have had really trying times in their past and horrible things have happened to them - but these things were not their fault and they shouldn't be ashamed of them. I have felt ashamed before but once the experience is over and life has moved on those feelings tend to fade. I guess I'm of the opinion that I have too much to worry about today to have time/energy to keep worrying about what happened in the past. You can't change the past but you can change today and tomorrow so spend your energy doing so and learn from what happened in the past.
*I hope my opinions don't offend anyone for they are not meant to do so.
