We also went to a local splash pad.
Jordyn seemed content to run/play on the outer edges of the spraying water
while Keegan was fearless and enjoyed being in the center of the sprays. The older girls were content having water fights
and having races through the water.

Water Babies
To help stay cool in the HOT Utah sun, we spent a lot of time near/in the water. We were able to take my parents boat out to Sand Hollow Reservoir for an afternoon. Jordyn didn't really enjoy her first boat ride, but I think that had something to do with the choppiness of the water, the wind was blowing pretty strongly that day (as it does most days, why else would the town be called Hurricane?!).
At the beach, the kids played in the red sand with the older two digging holes and building castles
and the younger ones filling up those holes and knocking down the castles (needless to say, the older ones were too happy about that).
They also played in the water on the knee boards.
Jordyn was a little nervous about going for a ride on the knee board, but eventually warmed up to Uncle Scott and enjoyed her ride.
